More than 2500 years ago, Buddha, the enlightened one, was born in Northern India. Endowed with infinite spiritual strength and a universal benevolence, he developed the philosophy of Buddhism based on four “noble truths” related to the universality of suffering, its origins, its annihilation and the spiritual way to reach that point.
The disciples of this philosophy pursue goals of enlightenment, purity, proper thoughts and viewpoints and develop qualities such as generosity, discipline, renunciation, wisdom, energy, endurance, truthfulness, determination and benevolence.
